Sarah Hathorn, AICI CIP, CPBSCEO & Founder
Sarah Hathorn, AICI CIM, CPBS is an internationally distinguished leadership development mentor, executive presence coach, image and branding consultant, corporate consultant & professional development trainer, and the founding CEO of her own successful company, Illustra Consulting.

As a professional image consultant and career acceleration expert, she created the innovative Predictable Promotion™ System. This 10-step proprietary process empowers corporate leaders with tools to achieve a high level of executive performance and productivity, which facilitates their sustainable value within their organization. Each step in her system enhances executive presence, including appearance, behavior, brand and communication skills to achieve accelerated career advancement. Her clients emerge with a well-rounded and authentic executive presence defined by their credibility, confidence, gravitas and marketability.

In response to the devastating personal experience of being turned down for a prized promotion early in her career, Sarah developed her own system for enhancing her marketable value and executive leadership presence. She designed a step-by-step process for quickly acquiring practical value-adding performance skills, and then developed efficient strategies to gain the positive recognition of influential decision makers. Meanwhile she creatively enhanced a variety of priceless intangible qualities that companies specifically look for in high potentials ready to rise to the top of the succession planning list.

The rest is history. Eighteen months after being passed over, Sarah had achieved multiple promotions and earned several salary increases and lucrative incentive packages – plus the extraordinary leadership responsibility of a Fortune 100 senior executive.

But Sarah’s unique and innovative system didn’t just help her land her dream job. It continued to empower her with exponential career growth and the ability to successfully reinvent herself with greater value, despite a corporate climate of tumultuous and frightening layoffs, acquisitions, multiple mergers, and constant downsizing initiatives.

A few years ago Sarah left her prestigious Fortune 100 position to follow what she considers her true professional calling and personal passion. She launched her own consulting company which now offers the Predictable Promotion System™ through intensive one-on-one executive coaching of private clients, developmental workshops for large corporations, and various customized consulting programs and interactive speaking engagements.

For the past 30 years Sarah has used her vision and insight to help promote leaders at all levels, and many of her clients and former protégés now occupy the highest positions within Fortune 500 companies. Her client list is a virtual “Who’s Who” of elite companies and top executives.

Marc Hathorn

Marc HathornPresident
Marc Hathorn is President of Illustra Consulting. As an Internet marketing, finance, and business brand specialist he has an extraordinary grasp of emerging technologies matched by more than 17 years of business, marketing, and branding experience. Before joining the firm Marc directed Systems and Operations for Visual Merchandising at Macy’s, a Fortune 100 corporation.

His specialty is the design and application of innovative technological solutions and evolved marketing strategies that draw upon a full range of computer and Internet-based tools, resources, and creative concepts. Marc’s visual designs are engaging, captivating, and defined by sleek aesthetic elegance. The technological architecture that he employs is highly sophisticated – but the end-user experience and navigation on the websites he creates is intuitive and error-free. Marc intentionally builds sites to be scalable, adaptable, and flexible over time – while also low maintenance and user-friendly.

During his Fortune 100 tenure Marc led design, marketing, branding, advertising, and graphics campaigns for more than 240 retail stores across 18 different states. He simultaneously oversaw a $2 million budget plus computer and project systems development, visual project management, information portals, and internal communications systems. To fulfill those tasks he successfully organized diverse teams and managed dozens of people on both creative and technical projects. He was also a member of the company’s Executive Transition Team for two consecutive years. In that capacity Marc managed, for example, the seamless integration of Visual Merchandising to facilitate the complex merger of Foley’s, Hecht’s, and Kaufman’s locations into the Macy’s brand and family of stores.
